Spartan Consultants was started in 2009 by CIM qualified Director ‘Merie Sennett’ following a successful career in both the recruitment and IT industries.

“Over a decade in recruitment helped me to develop my skills and intuition in assessing people’s aims and motivations whilst helping them to achieve their goals. As my career progressed, I became very involved in the strategic side of taking a business forward as well as establishing effective processes to allow that to happen. I have always paid close attention in order to learn from both the best and the worst to understand what works and what doesn’t.”

The result – a refreshing approach which takes into account not just what the text books say but seeks to really understand what will work for you, what you want to achieve and then provides you with the tools to get there.

Throughout her time in recruitment, Merie successfully placed many hundreds of candidates into their dream jobs and has consequently reviewed thousands of CV’s, working within various industries and different stages of careers. This, combined with a strong sales background and formal marketing training, has helped her to establish a unique ability to really understand a person’s potential, how it relates to the role they are applying to and then sell it in the most effective way on a CV.
